During a global pandemic, you need access to fast and affordable testing.

Health Gauge has great news! We recently opened up a drive through testing service at Oak Park Mall in Kansas. Now, you can drive up, in the safety of your vehicle, to receive quick, accurate, and painless (though slightly uncomfortable) testing for Covid-19.

You may have heard from your neighbors that the lines are long and the swabs are painful at other testing facilities. Here is how ours are different:

  1. Because we have several Sofia 2 analyzers, we are prepared to handle a large amount of tests. Most other facilities don’t have access to these analyzers because the federal government stepped in to purchase the majority of Sofia 2 machines and cassettes. Thankfully, we scaled up before that happened, so we are able to offer you this widely sought-after service.
  2. Some patients are unable to qualify for testing through their insurance companies because they have only mild symptoms, only exposure and no symptoms, or because they don’t have an established primary care physician. Our Covid-19 test is affordable at only $80, so most patients will not need to wait on insurance to cover the cost.
  3. At the HG screening facility, we won’t poke your brain! It’s not exactly our motto, just a nice perk to the antigen test. But seriously… antigen testing is less invasive, and the swab will not go past your nasal passages. Just a few quick swishes and you’ll be on your way!
  4. Because we are testing for antigens, we are able to get accurate results back to you in 20 minutes to 1 hour so you can be about your day if you have a negative test or back to your home for voluntary isolation if you have a positive result. Peace of mind is priceless.
  5. All Covid-19 tests are accurate, but the antigen test is 1.5 percent less sensitive than the polymerise chain reaction (PCR) performed at other doctors’ offices. And that is a small price to pay in order to have a rapid response, less invasive test. With a PCR test, you might have to wait two weeks for results, and you could be exposing untold numbers of people to the virus in the meantime.

So how do you get tested?

There are a couple of ways to schedule. In Kansas or Missouri, go to HGscreenings.com or call our toll free number 1-877-732-8258. We will need your name, address, date of birth. Schedule by phone or online.

There is no more need to wait for testing. Now you can have peace of mind and help keep your friends and family safe.
