Sofia 2 Sars Antigen FIA test just received Emergency Use Authorization from the FDA. This test will simply, within 15 minutes, give you a positive or negative result for COVID-19. HealthGauge is one of a small number of companies in the Midwest to receive authorization to provide these tests to the community at large, or for companies big or small.

According to Dr. Scott Gottlieb, the former Commissioner of the FDA, the Quidel, Antigen test is a “game-changer” in the fight against the Coronavirus. In approximately one-minute, this Antigen, nasal-swab test can be administered at any location. Furthermore, the Quidel, Antigen test yields accurate, timely results (about fifteen minutes); it’s less painful to the recipient (meaning it is not a deep nasal swab), and it’s more cost effective than other Coronavirus tests.

 

Health Gauge has officially acquired the ability from the Quidel Corporation (QDEL) to offer the Sofia 2 SARS Antigen FIA test.
